Today, on September 26, 2019, at official ceremony in the Municipal Parliament of the City of Podgorica, it was signed a Grant Agreement under the Bulgarian Development Cooperation Fund of the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria for a project amounts 89 772 BGN / 45 899,69 EUR /. The project was selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria on August 27, 2019, after a project selection procedure through the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Podgorica.

The Grant Agreement was signed by the Mayor of the Capital city of Podgorica Mr. Ivan Vukovic, PhD and the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Montenegro, Mrs. Meglena Plugtchieva, PhD. The project provides an improvement of the waste management system in the Capital city of Podgorica by procuring primary waste collection containers and aims to reduce negative environmental impacts and to improve citizen’s quality of life. ​
