УВАЖАЕМИ СЪНАРОДНИЦИ,

Във връзка с посещение в Чикаго на президента на Р България г-н Росен Плевнелиев за участие в срещата на най-високо равнище на НАТО, генерално консулство на България организира среща на българската общност с г-н Плевнелиев.

Срещата ще се проведе на 19 май 2012 г. (събота) от 12.00 ч., в Chicago Botanic Garden, с адрес:
1000 Lake Cook Rd, Glencoe, IL 60022.

Срещата ще се проведе в Научната лаборатория и цветната градина пред нея, от където започва мостът Трелис (The Trellis Bridge).

За всички български граждани, които искат да се срещнат с Президента на Републиката ще има безплатен паркинг на Ravinia Festival, с адрес Ravinia Park Road (off Green Bay Road, north of Lake Cook Road) in Highland Park. Мястото е на три четвърти мили от най-близкия вход към градината 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe. Указателни табелки ще насочват трафика към Ravinia, като ще могат да се виждат след като се излезе от Route 41/Edens Expressway при Lake Cook Road, продължава се на изток по Lake Cook Road и по Green Bay Road.

Ето и още малко пояснения отдомакините:

Buses and a trolley will transport guests beginning at 10:00am from the Ravinia Festival lot to the Garden’s Plant Conservation Science Center, where President Plevneliev will address members of the Bulgarian community. At the conclusion of the event, the buses and trolley will return guests to Ravinia. Trolley and bus service between Ravinia and the Plant Science Center will run between 10:00am and 5:30pm. The last departure from the Garden to Ravinia will be at 5:30pm.

Please allow at least an additional 20 – 30 minutes to park at Ravinia, get on a bus or the trolley, and travel to the Plant Conservation Science Center for the event.

• Metra Train - for those taking the Metra (via the Union Pacific North line) to Glencoe, a Garden van will transport guests to the Garden’s Visitor Center and return them to the train station. Once at the Visitor Center, a tram will transport guests to the Plant Conservation Science Center, the site of the President’s remarks. The van will operate between the Visitor Center and the Glencoe Metra station from 9:30am to 5:30pm.

• On-site Parking - for those guests who are planning to park in the Chicago Botanic Garden’s parking lots, regular parking fees will apply : $20 for non-members; free for Garden members. Due to a number of other events taking place at the Garden on May 19th parking spaces will be limited. A tram will be available to transport guests from the Visitor Center to the Plant Conservation Science Center beginning at 10am.

• PACE Bus – guests can also reach the Garden via the PACE #213 bus that stops on Lake Cook Road near the Garden’s entrance. Garden signs direct guests to the Visitor Center where a tram will provide transportation to the Plant Conservation Science Center, the site of the President’s remarks.
