Position on blocking the Council conclusions on Enlargement
Bulgaria regrets that the Council conclusions on Enlargement and the Stabilization and Association Process were unexpectedly blocked by two member states without explanation during today’s ENVI Council. We stand ready to hear the concerns that have led to this decision and to pursue our efforts to build consensus on Enlargement.

Bulgaria supports 18 countries with Official Development Assistance of over BGN 5.5 million
Bulgaria provided Official Development Assistance worth more than BGN 5.5 million to 18 countries in 2020. By the end of October, a part of those resources was used to finance bilateral projects and international organizations and others were donated as humanitarian aid.
