Ivan Kondov will be in New York to participate in the General Debate of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov will be on a working visit to New York in the period 22—28 September 2024 to participate in the delegation for the opening of the General Debate of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly, which this year will be themed ‘Leaving No One Behind: Acting together to advance peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations’ and in a number of side events. Minister Kondov will also be part of the delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Summit for the Future, dedicated to finding solutions through multilateral cooperation.

Ivan Kondov will participate in the informal meeting of the General Affairs Council in Budapest
On 2 and 3 September 2024, Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov will be in Budapest, where he will take part in the informal meeting of the General Affairs Council within the programme of the Hungarian EU Presidency. The main topics for discussion will be the competitiveness of the EU and demographic challenges in Europe.

Ivan Kondov will be in Brussels to participate in the EU foreign ministers’ meeting ‘Gymnich’
Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov will take part on 29 August in the informal meeting of the foreign ministers of the EU member states — ‘Gymnich’, which will be held in Brussels. Topics on the agenda include Russian aggression against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East and current developments in Venezuela.
