Candidature of the Republic of Bulgaria for membership in the OECD
Accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is among the main foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Bulgaria.
On the 25th of January, 2022, the OECD Council decided to open accession discussions with the 6 candidates to OECD membersip, including Bulgaria.
On June 10, 2022, Bulgaria officially received it's Roadmap for joining the Organisation, adopted by the OECD Council during the annual ministerial meeting, which took place on June 9-10, 2022 in Paris.
