Ekaterina Zaharieva in Prague: It is Important that We do not Permit Another Closure of Internal Borders in the EU
“The EU needs common and coordinated rules for countering the coronavirus, but we should not permit another closure of internal borders in the EU. We went through all this once and this led to thousands of people being stranded and to disruptions of the delivery of goods,” Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva said at a press conference in Prague.

Greece to Carry Out Maximum Number of Coronavirus Tests at Border
In connection with the en-masse testing for the coronavirus on entry into Greece in recent days, the Bulgarian Embassy in Athens has reported that there was no document issued by a competent Greek authority, such as the Greek Public Health Organization, imposing a requirement for mandatory testing for COVID-19 of everyone crossing the Kulata-Promachon checkpoint.

Bulgaria Asks UK Government to Explain Quarantine for Bulgarian Nationals
Acting on orders of Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ekaterina Zaharieva, the Bulgarian Embassy in London has sent a note to the British government with a request for an explanation of why Bulgaria has been removed from the list of countries whose nationals are exempt from quarantine as of 10 July.

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance Adopts a Declaration against the Rehabilitation of Persons Implicated in Crimes of the Holocaust
