Minister Ivan Kondov participated in the EU-India-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Stockholm

On 13 May 2023, The Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov participated in the Second EU-Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, which took place in Stockholm in the framework of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU. The Forum brought together some 60 Foreign Ministers from the two regions to discuss global challenges and opportunities for developing cooperation.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov gave a special media briefing on the latest developments in Bulgaria's relations with the Republic of North Macedonia. A dialogue on security issues in the Black Sea region was held in the framework of the Bulgarian Chairmanship of the OSCE Forum on Security Cooperation on 3 May 2023. Participants in the discussion focused on the strategic role of the region in the context of the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine. An assessment of the adverse impact of the war on overall European security was shared.
