Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel will host the conference ‘Multipolar World and Foreign Policy Strategy: challenges and perspective for Bulgaria’

The conference will take place on 29 February at the House of Europe at 10 a.m. The initiator and host is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel.

This is the third foreign policy strategy conference. The aim of the forums is to take into account the proposals of as wide a range of experts and representatives of science, political circles, civil society and young people when developing the document outlining the principles and objectives of Bulgarian foreign policy.

Keynote speakers at the third conference, which is focused on European experience and expertise in the field, will be Stefano Sannino, Secretary General of the European External Action Service of the European Commission, Rosen Plevneliev, 2012 — 2017 President of the Republic of Bulgaria and Yordan Bozhilov, Chair of the Sofia Security Forum.

‘Developing a national foreign policy strategy is both a challenge and an opportunity. The document will highlight Bulgaria's position in the international arena, pointing out its contribution to peace, security and cooperation at regional, European and global level’, Deputy Prime Minister Gabriel said.
