Nickolay Mladenov: ‘Campaign in London against the expected “flood of Bulgarians and Romanians” is not consistent with the values of the EU’
The type of speech being used in the campaign in the United Kingdom against a possible “flood of Bulgarians and Romanians” after January 1 2014 complies neither with the values nor the principles of the EU. This is especially valid for a country that is a leader in all international formats for the defence of human rights, Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov told journalists in Brussels.

The highest voter turnout abroad in the national referendum by 3pm Bulgarian time was in Brussels, where 205 citizens voted. In London, 161 voted and 152 voted in Madrid.
