Hungary Supports Bulgaria in Protest against Mobility Package

Hungary expressed readiness to support Bulgaria in its further efforts against the adoption of the Mobility Package 1 (the so called “Macron Package”). The matter was discussed at a working meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva and Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto during the latter’s visit to Bulgaria.

Under the motto “Sea of Opportunities”, the Bulgarian Chairmanship-in-Office sets as its priorities the further development of BSEC as a project-oriented organization; the continuation of the processes of reform and adaptation of the organization to the contemporary challenges; the promotion of the meaningful interaction with the EU.
