Deputy Minister Maria Angelieva Represented Bulgaria at the OECD Development Assistance Committee High-Level Meeting
Deputy Minister Maria Angelieva represented Bulgaria at the High-Level Meeting of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Development Assistance Committee (DAC), held on 20 March this year in Paris. As a country with "participant" status in the DAC since 2018, Bulgaria took part in the forum for the third time. In addition to the members of the Committee, observers, key partners, representatives of leading international organisations, and others participated in the meeting. OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann addressed the participants with a welcome speech.

Further information can be provided at a later stage, once the Bulgarian side has been informed of the outcome of the investigation by the competent bodies into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Georg Georgiev, assured his counterpart – the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, Timcho Mutsunski, who was in Sofia today for a short visit, together with the Minister of Health, Dr. Arben Taravari, to personally acquaint himself with the condition of their fellow citizens admitted for treatment in our country, who were injured in the serious incident in the city of Kochani.
