DAY OF SALVATION OF BULGARIAN JEWS AND VICTIMS OF THE HOLOCAUST AND CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY
By its decision of February 19, 2003, the Council of Ministers designated March 10 as the Day of Salvation of Bulgarian Jews and Holocaust Victims and Crimes against Humanity. Since 2018, the Republic of Bulgaria is a member of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.

In connection with the severely deteriorating situation in Ukraine and the provided green corridors for the departure of the country's civilian population, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on absolutely all Bulgarian citizens and their families to use the provided evacuation trains from railway stations in Ukraine.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the Bulgarian diplomats for the assistance they provided to our compatriots in their evacuation from Ukraine.

Bulgaria supports the establishment of a commission of inquiry to investigate human rights violations in connection with the situation in Ukraine
"The unjustified military attack on Ukraine is a gross violation of the international law and undermines world security," said Deputy Minister Velislava Petrova during an urgent debate on the human rights situation in Ukraine over Russia's aggression in the country. The emergency procedure was launched in the context of the 49th session of the Human Rights Council, which began on 28 February.
