Successful launch of a new National Visa Information System
As part of a large-scale project, on 19/08/2024 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs successfully launched a new version of the National Visa Information System.

According to the information received at the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Thessaloniki from the Greek police, in the evening hours of 16 August, in a nightclub in the resort of Hanioti, a conflict broke out between a company of 7 Bulgarian citizens, the owner and the staff of the restaurant, which resulted in two people being shot and one with minor injuries. The wounded were admitted to the hospital of Polygyros.

These measures may also include the conclusion of bilateral agreements with specific countries,” Deputy Foreign Minister Mariya Angelieva said at a meeting with the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Tsvetan Simeonov and the Chairman of the Bulgarian-Uzbek Friendship Association Toshko Krastev, which took place today at the Foreign Ministry.
