The Ministry of Foreign Affairs awarded distinguished persons with contribution to the development of cultural diplomacy
The State Cultural Institute under the Minister of Foreign Affairs honoured prominent persons with a contribution to the popularization of Bulgarian culture, historical heritage and the development of cultural diplomacy. Diplomas on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Institute were awarded to Assoc. Prof. Albena Taneva, Prof. Aksinia Dzhurova, Ivo Hadjimishev, Daniela Todorova, Lyubov Kostova and Yavor Koynakov.

EU foreign ministers discuss the situation in Russia, vaccines against COVID 19 and climate diplomacy
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva is taking part in the regular meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council held in Brussels today. The ministers discussed a wide range of topics: the situation in Russia since the arrest of Alexei Navalny, the provision of vaccines for the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership, relations with the United States, Turkey and Japan, and climate diplomacy.

Bulgaria will organize a business forum within the Three Seas framework
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva talked with Poland's government coordinator for the Three Seas Initiative, Pavel Jablonski. Bulgaria took over from Estonia the coordinating role of the Three Seas Initiative in October 2020.
