Minister Daniel Mitov participated in the regular Foreign Affairs Council meeting, which was held today in Luxembourg. Ministers discussed with the European Commission Vice-President and Energy Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič the role of diplomacy in improving and ensuring EU’s energy security.

Bulgaria-Serbia political consultations
Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and Serbia took place on 19 June in Sofia. The talks on behalf of Bulgaria were led by Andrey Tehov, Director General for European Affairs, and on behalf of Serbia by Tanja Miščević, Chief Negotiator for Serbia's accession negotiations with the EU.
