The government raised the class of the honorary consul in Naples
The Council of Ministers adopted a decision to change the consular class of Gennaro Familietti from honorary consul to honorary consul general and to expand his consular district in Italy, which in addition to the Campania region with the capital Naples will now cover the Abruzzo, Molise and Basilicata and Calabria, where according to official data live about 10,000 Bulgarian citizens.

The State Cultural Institute under the Minister of Foreign Affairs honoured prominent persons with a contribution to the popularization of Bulgarian culture, historical heritage and the development of cultural diplomacy. EU foreign ministers discuss the situation in Russia, vaccines against COVID 19 and climate diplomacy
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva is taking part in the regular meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council held in Brussels today. The ministers discussed a wide range of topics: the situation in Russia since the arrest of Alexei Navalny, the provision of vaccines for the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership, relations with the United States, Turkey and Japan, and climate diplomacy.
