Minister Nadezhda Neynsky Holds Talks with Israeli Counterpart Gideon Sa’ar

At the initiative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Gideon Sa’ar, a telephone conversation took place today between Minister of Foreign Affairs Nadezhda Neynsky and her Israeli counterpart.
Minister Sa’ar congratulated Minister Neynsky on assuming for a second time the office of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The two interlocutors discussed the further deepening and expansion of bilateral relations, particularly in the fields of the economy and high technologies. They also conducted a brief review of the security situation in the Middle East. In this context, Minister Sa’ar welcomed the active policy of the Republic of Bulgaria in engaging in efforts aimed at promoting peace in conflict areas across the region, including within the framework of the Gaza Peace and Reconstruction Plan, in which the Bulgarian diplomat Nikolay Mladenov plays a central operational role.
Minister Sa’ar extended an invitation to Minister Neynsky to pay a visit to State of Israel in the near future.
