The Republic of Bulgaria participated in the plenary session of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance in Jerusalem

A Bulgarian delegation, led by Deputy Minister and National Coordinator for Combating Antisemitism, Ms. Maria Angelieva, participated in the winter plenary session of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance in Jerusalem, the State of Israel, between 14 and 18 December.
The delegation of the Republic of Bulgaria included representatives of the administration, academia, the Bulgarian Jewish community and non-governmental organizations. The level and composition of the delegation were highly appreciated.
During its visit, the delegation also visited Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, laid flowers in memory of the Righteous Among the Nations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel and met with representatives of the local Bulgarian community.
