Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Pavlov today received copies of the letters of credence of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Arthur den Hartog.
Deputy Minister Pavlov and Ambassador den Hartog reviewed bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed the commitment of the diplomatic services of both countries to continue working towards intensifying bilateral political dialogue, deepening trade and economic cooperation, expanding business contacts and investment, and strengthening collaboration in the fields of education, science, research and development, innovation, and cultural exchange
The two sides also confirmed their shared intention to further build upon and expand cooperation within the frameworks of the EU, NATO, and multilateral formats in priority areas of mutual interest, including security and cybersecurity, border security, and the enhancement of stability and resilience in the Black Sea region.
