This was emphasised by Minister Georg Georgiev during a meeting with Christopher Pratt, Deputy Under Secretary for Strategy, Policy, and Plans at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Earlier in the day, Minister Georgiev also held a meeting with Andrew Peek, Senior Director for Europe and Eurasia at the White House National Security Council. The meeting addressed priority issues on the bilateral agenda, and both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and the United States.
