Ambassador Hristo Kraevski Presented Letters of Credence to the President of the Re-public of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu

At a formal ceremony held on March 27, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Kosovo, H.E. Mr Hristo Kraevski, presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Ms Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu.
President Osmani congratulated Ambassador Kraevski on the assumption of his post and expressed her sincere gratitude for Bulgaria's continued support for Kosovo – particularly in strengthening its sovereignty, territorial integrity, Euro-Atlantic integration, and the affirmation of the country on the international stage. She also conveyed high appreciation for Bulgaria’s longstanding commitment to both regional and global security.
During their conversation, Ambassador Kraevski emphasised the importance of building on the excellent bilateral cooperation through new initiatives and projects, grounded in multidimensional connectivity. He conveyed Bulgaria's appreciation for Kosovo's approach to community relations, in line with European and democratic standards. In this context, he thanked President Osmani for her personal engagement in affirming the status and ensuring the full rights of the Bulgarian community in Kosovo.
Ambassador Kraevski also conveyed the greetings of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev to the Head of State of Kosovo, who in response noted the very constructive dialogue maintained between the two presidents, which she described as a key factor in the comprehensive development of relations between Bulgaria and Kosovo.
President Osmani and Ambassador Kraevski discussed in more detail the opportunities for deepening cooperation in the fields of economy, education, culture, tourism, and other areas of mutual interest.
Following the credential ceremony, Ambassador Hristo Kraevski laid flowers at the monument Kosovo’s historic President, Dr Ibrahim Rugova.
