Elections for the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria started at midnight Bulgarian time with the opening of the polling station in Canberra, Australia. Bulgarian citizens in the Australian capital city will have the opportunity to be the first to vote. Because of time differences, voting abroad will start today and will end on May 13 at 6am, with the closing of polling stations in Los Angeles and Sunnyvale in the United States.
