On 15 April 2024, the Central Military Club in Sofia will host the Second Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimea Platform. The conference is jointly organised by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence of Ukraine, in partnership with the Centre for Defence Strategies (Ukraine).
Russia's military aggression against Ukraine has seriously undermined the security system in the Black Sea and Azov Sea region and has had a direct impact on the security of our continent. The conference will discuss recent security developments in the Black Sea region, the implications of Russia's ongoing military aggression against Ukraine and further steps to strengthen security in the region.
The implementation of the Ukrainian ‘Peace Formula’ will also be an important aspect of the discussion.
