Ambassador Stoyan Mihaylov presented his Letters of Credence to the President of Uruguay Luis Lacalle Pou

The Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria based in Buenos Aires, Stoyan Mihaylov, presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou. The ceremony took place on 12 July 2022 at the Estévez Presidential Palace, Montevideo. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francisco Carlos Bustillo, was also present at the ceremony.
On behalf of President Rumen Radev, Ambassador Mihaylov invited the Uruguayan Head of State to visit our country.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Mihaylov, accompanied by the Guard of Honour, laid a wreath at the monument to Uruguay’s national hero, General José Gervasio Artigas, in Independence Square in front of the Presidential Palace.
