22 July 2020 News

In a situation like the current one, when everyone’s life and work are made more difficult by the spread of COVID-19, it is very nice to see recognition for the efforts to help citizens.

Maya Kostova from Smolyan wrote a letter to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva to thank her and her team for their professionalism and for working around the clock to help citizens.

“Dear Mrs Zaharieva, I am sending this letter to express my family’s appreciation for the work of the Ministry headed by you, particularly for the work around the clock of the Situation Centre and for the professionalism and prompt responses by Mr. Rumen Vladimirov,” Maya Kostova wrote.

She went on to add that “despite the emergency situation, we have been able to continue projects involving travel outside of Bulgaria thanks to your diligent efforts.”

The Situation Centre, whose motto is “Always Ready to Help”, receives reports and requests for assistance from Bulgarian nationals in distress at +359 2 948 24 04; +359 2 971 38 56 or at [email protected].
