Incident with a Bulgarian-registered car in Vienna

 A Bulgarian-registered car- BMW X5 exploded at 2:45 am last night in Vienna. According to the latest information from the Austrian authorities, one Austrian and one German national are the victims of the explosion.   

The owner of the car is a Bulgarian leasing company and the user is a Bulgarian citizen. According to the preliminary information from the police, the blast is most probably caused by a hand grenade. The relationship between the Bulgarian and the two victims is not clarified yet. During the incident the Bulgarian citizen was not in the car.

The Bulgarian Embassy in Vienna is in constant contact with local authorities and the case is being investigated by the competent authorities.
