No Bulgarians injured in Sardinia

22 November 2013

According to the information from the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Rome, there are no Bulgarian citizens injured in the floods, caused by the cyclone "Cleopatra" on the island of Sardinia.

Especially severe is the situation in the mountain towns Tempio and Nuoro, as well as in the seaside town Olbia, where the death toll has reached sixteen people. The heavy rains, the flood waters and the strong winds have destroyed many houses, isolated separate settlements and discontinued some roads. A state of emergency is declared. The authorities continue to put efforts in addressing the damage caused by the disaster.
