In connection with the serious accident on the Trakia highway, where a bus from the Republic of Serbia overturned, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that it is in contact with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as with the authorities of the neighbouring country. The Ministry has also informed the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Bulgaria about the case.

"The accession of Bulgaria to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development is the most serious integration effort of our country after our admission to the EU and NATO". This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikolay Milkov at a press conference in the Council of Ministers. The Government adopted today at its meeting a Draft Decree on the organization and coordination of the process of talks and preparatory activities for the accession of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Moscow Atanas Krastin was invited to a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation today, where he was informed that four Bulgarian diplomats and ten technical staff from our diplomatic representations in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, as well as from the Industry Centre of the Republic of Bulgaria in Moscow have been declared persona non grata. They should leave the country within 120 hours.
