The work of the European ministers began with preparations for the upcoming European Council meeting in June. The draft conclusions include the topics of Ukraine, the Middle East, the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2028–2034, global economic challenges, European security and defense, migration, the fight against drugs, and the European Semester.

“Tbilisi is in Sofia, just as Sofia is in Tbilisi,” Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hristo Polendakov said during the official opening ceremony held today, 21 May, for a garden in Sofia’s Lozenets district bearing the name of the Georgian capital. The ceremony followed the inauguration in March 2021 of a garden named “Sofia” in Tbilisi in honour of the Bulgarian capital.
