Minister Ivan Kondov met with Mr. Benjamin Haddad
On 3 of December, later in the day, in the framework of the NATO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, Minister Ivan Kondov met with Mr. Benjamin Haddad, Minister Delegate for Europe to the Prime Minister and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France. Issues on the bilateral agenda, European Union issues and prospects for the Western Balkans were discussed.

Minister Ivan Kondov held a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha
In the framework of the NATO Foreign Ministers' Meeting, the agenda of Minister Ivan Kondov continued with a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. Minister Kondov assured that Bulgaria would continue its unwavering and consistent support for Ukraine, as well as for Ukraine's right to determine its own security policy and future without external interference.

EU ambassadors reached preliminary agreement on the draft decision for the lifting of checks on persons at internal land borders with and between the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania
COREPER II reached today preliminary agreement on the draft Council decision regarding the full accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the Schengen Area by January 1st 2025, including land borders. The Decision is expected to be finally adopted at the meeting of the EU Council "Justice and Home Affairs" (in the format of Home Affairs Ministers), which will take place in Brussels on 12 December 2024.
