Ambassador Olshevski presented his credentials to the King of Bahrain

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the State of Kuwait, Alexander Olshevski accredited also to the Kingdom of Bahrein, presented his credentials to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.The official ceremony took place on 8 October. The guard of honor greeted the  Bulgarian ambassador and military band played the national anthem of the Republic of Bulgaria.

After the ceremony, Ambassador Olshevski  wished on behalf of President Rosen Plevneliev health and success to the King, as well as prosperity and progress to the people of Bahrain.

They shared the view that the existing contractual and legal basis between the two countries provides opportunities for greater trade and investment growth. The King of Bahrain noted the potential of Bulgaria in the field of tourism and expressed admiration for the Bulgarian nature, culture and history. He pointed out that the two countries should strengthen the exchange of delegations, including at a high level.

The ceremony was attended by Ghanim Al Buainain, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and the Director of the royal protocol.
