Meeting of the Foreign Minister with the Ambassador of India

Minister Daniel Mitov held a meeting today with Divyabh Manchanda, Ambassador of India to Bulgaria, on the occasion of his final departure from the country. The Foreign Minister thanked the Indian diplomat for his efforts to deepen the bilateral relations and conferred the honorary medal of the MFA in recognition of his work during his mandate.
Ambassador Manchanda noted the traditionally good cooperation between Bulgaria and India, emphasizing that his efforts had positive results due to the positive response from the Bulgarian side.
Minister Mitov and Ambassador Manchanda reviewed the state of bilateral cooperation in various fields and discussed the prospects for deepening the political dialogue at high and the highest level. They shared the view that the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations provide an excellent opportunity for strengthening the cultural exchange.
