Kristian Vigenin participates in the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels

On 16 December 2013, Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin will participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.
The main topics that ministers will discuss are related to the situation in Syria, Lebanon, the Central African Republic . They will exchange views on the follow-up to the Eastern Partnership summit held in Vilnius in November, including on the recent events in Ukraine.
The agenda of the Council includes also working lunch of the ministers with Sergey Lavrov, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
At their meeting, the foreign ministers of the member states will address the state of the negotiations on the Middle East peace process and questions related to the Western Balkans.
