His outstanding scientific achievements and valuable contribution to Bulgarian – American cooperation are a source of pride for all of us,” Minister Neynski stated. She noted that the deepened partnership in the fields of defence, energy, education and investment provides a solid foundation for expanding cooperation into new strategic areas.

Bulgaria’s top diplomat also highlighted the scientist’s contribution to international projects: “His work in the field of optical and digital imaging technologies, applied in the Artemis I and Artemis II missions of NASA, is a concrete example of Bulgarian contribution to contemporary technological and space projects of the United States.”
The Foreign Minister underlined that Bulgaria has strong potential in areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, robotics and space research, and expressed readiness to deepen joint initiatives with the United States with a view to promoting economic growth and technological resilience. She also expressed confidence that scientific and technological cooperation will remain a key factor in strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries and in developing sustainable relations.
