The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms Nadezhda Neynski, held a working meeting with the ambassadors of the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of Finland and the Kingdom of Sweden, during which priority issues on the international agenda were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East and the importance of international coordination for maintaining regional stability.

A central topic of the discussions was the unwavering support for Ukraine in the context of the ongoing Russian aggression. The Minister and the ambassadors reaffirmed their countries’ commitment to continuing comprehensive assistance – political, military and humanitarian. It was unanimously agreed that the stability of Ukraine is directly linked to the long-term security architecture in Europe and to the protection of the continent’s democratic values.

In conclusion, the participants placed emphasis on strengthening security along NATO’s Eastern Flank, highlighting the key role of the Black Sea region for overall European stability. The parties agreed that an enhanced Allied presence and close cooperation within the Alliance are essential for deterring both hybrid and conventional threats. The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the shared commitment to modernising defence capabilities and ensuring peace and security in Europe through solidarity and shared responsibility.
