All foreign nationals in India who have changed their travel plans due to current events in the Middle East and need assistance in extending their visas or adjusting their stay are advised to contact the nearest regional office for registration of foreigners (FRRO). The relevant FRRO will assist you with the necessary formalities. For FRRO contact details, please visit https://boi.gov.in/‘.

The visa extension will be granted for 14 days from the date of expiry of the current visa and will be issued on a case-by-case basis after verification of the relevant circumstances. Travelers must present proof of their inability to depart due to canceled flights, such as boarding passes, flight cancellation notices, or confirmations from airlines. Visa extensions can be obtained from the immigration office at the airport at the time of departure.

Bulgarian diplomatic missions abroad are ready to provide assistance and support to all Bulgarian citizens outside the war zone, with priority given to humanitarian cases.
