Today, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Nikolay Pavlov received copies of the Letters of Credence from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to the Republic of Bulgaria, His Excellency Mr Pierre Hagmann.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a range of bilateral agenda topics, with particular emphasis on the successful partnership in commerce, the economy, science and innovation, and cultural exchanges. Both parties welcomed the progress made under the ambitious Swiss-Bulgarian cooperation programme and expressed satisfaction with the achievements of the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology – INSAIT, which stands as a significant example of productive collaboration between Bulgaria and Switzerland in the technological sphere..
The meeting further identified shared priorities and strategic areas for continued partnership, reaffirming the commitment of both diplomatic services to strengthening bilateral relations.
