The Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov received today at the Foreign Ministry the Rector of the University of National and World Economy Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov.
They discussed the joint work to implement the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2023 to deepen the cooperation between the two institutions and reaffirmed the partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UNWE, which has a rich history.
Minister Kondov outlined the consistent policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide opportunities for practical experience and career development to Bulgarian students and shared his views on the realization of the common goals through organizing joint activities, conducting internships, engaging students in supporting international events hosted by our country, etc.
Prof. Dr. Dimitrov introduced Minister Kondov with successful programs of the UNWE for cooperation with foreign higher education institutions and in particular with those from the Asian region — a rapidly developing region with an interest in promoting the establishment of dual programs with Bulgarian higher education institutions to improve the quality of education through active academic exchange of students and teachers.
