Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Marin Raykov sent letters of condolences to Mohammad Reza Rahimi, First Vice-President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and to Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on the natural disasters that occurred in the region in recent days.
On behalf of the Bulgarian government and on his own behalf, the Prime Minister expressed deepest condolences on the earthquake that led to numerous deaths and injuries, as well as to severe damage to property. “I want to express our condolences, as well as our sincerest sympathies to the families of those killed and the injured,” the letter said.
