16 April 2013 News

“Bulgaria expresses its full support and sympathy to the families of the victims and expresses its hope that the injured will make a speedy recovery,” Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Marin Raykov said in a letter of condolences to United States President Barack Obama in response to the explosions in Boston on Monday.

“We are confident that the American nation will once again show its strength and unity at this difficult time. We have firm faith that the perpetrators of this terrible act, as well as their motives, will be revealed as quickly as possible,” Prime Minister Raykov said.

“Such acts have no place in the 21st Century and they can only be firmly condemned,” the letter said.
