The situation on the Korean Peninsula remains tense

10 April 2013 News

In the assessment of the Embassy, at the moment there is no immediate increased risk or danger to Bulgarian citizens present and residing in the Republic of Korea or who intend to travel to that country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Bulgarian citizens residing in the countries of the Korean peninsula pay vigilant attention to the news about the crisis with North Korea and register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Bulgaria in Seoul if they have not already done so, and also recommends that they follow the advice of the local authorities.

We recommend that Bulgarian citizens who intend to travel to the countries of the region plan their trips with increased caution, be well acquainted with the current situation and register on the website of the Foreign Ministry.
