Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Marin Raykov spoke with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius
“Bulgaria and France are ready for joint strategic projects. We must deliver on our strategic partnership with more specifics,” Bulgaria's Prime Minister said in a telephone conversation today with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius. They discussed co-operation between the two countries within the EU on all issues of mutual interest. “In the difficult social and economic situation in which we find ourselves, is important for us to receive the support of France during the negotiations on the future EU Multiannual Financial Framework for the period 2014-2020,” Prime Minister Marin Raykov said. “France fully supports the Bulgarian government in this moment of difficulty and responsibility,” Laurent Fabius said.
