Ambassador Valeri Yotov presented his Letter of Credence to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović

On 6 June 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Valeri Yotov, presented his Letter of Credence to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović. The traditional friendly relations between Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on long-standing friendship and cooperation, were highlighted during the discussion. In his address, Ambassador Yotov said that he will spare no efforts and energy to intensify the bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest for the benefit of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria and in the name of peace, stability and prosperity in the region of South-East Europe.

Džaferović said that there are no open issues between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria and wished Ambassador Yotov a successful mandate, with a search for opportunities to deepen the dialogue between the two countries.

Ambassador Yotov thanked the Presidency for the warm words and said that Bosnia and Herzegovina could benefit from Bulgaria’s experience and the lessons learned during our country’s accession to the EU and NATO. This would facilitate Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Euro-Atlantic path and would further contribute to strengthening and building on the dialogue in all areas, the Bulgarian ambassador stressed
