26 January 2022 News

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has announced that it was starting accession talks with Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Romania and Croatia.

"Individual roadmaps for the detailed evaluation process are yet to be prepared, provided that these countries reaffirm their commitment to the values, vision and priorities reflected in the OECD’s 60th Anniversary Declaration and the Council of Ministers' statement adopted last year.", was said in an official statement of the organization.

The process will include a rigorous and in-depth assessment by more than 20 technical committees of the candidate country's compliance with OECD standards, policies and practices.
