Deputy Minister Aleksandrov accepted copies of the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rumen Alexandrov accepted copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Bulgaria Jes Nielsen.
In the conversation with Ambassador Nielsen, Deputy Minister Alexandrov expressed readiness to maintain and develop the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, based on constructive cooperation in the EU, NATO and within international organizations. “We have regular dialogues on all issues of common interest. I hope that the mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries will continue and expand”, said Deputy Minister Alexandrov.
The opportunities for development of the bilateral partnership in the field of green energy and business, identified as a priority for both countries, were among the topics of the meeting. The two discussed the Covid-19 crisis, the migration and EU’s enlargement policy. Deputy Minister Alexandrov wished Ambassador Nielsen a successful and fruitful mandate and expressed hope for an exchange of high-level visits soon.
