Government Sanctions BGN 53,427 for Implementation of Projects in Republic of Moldova and Georgia

The Council of Ministers approved today intrabudgetary reallocations of endorsed expenditures by policy area of the 2020 budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The adjustments amounting to BGN 53,427 are for the implementation of two projects of the Diplomatic Institute with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs along development aid lines.

The objective of the project „Building Institutional Capacity of a Diplomatic Institute with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) of Republic of Moldova“ is to establish administrative, governance, expert, technical and information and analytical capacity, co-hosting of public events, training of trainers of the first ever in the history of Republic of Moldova school of diplomacy.

The second project, „Specialised Seminars on Energy Security and Risk Management for Diplomats, Experts and University Students from Georgia“ focuses on strengthening the expert capacity of members of diplomatic and civil service, as well as of representatives of academia, for effective implementation of the policies of the EU in the energy sector, identification of potential for investment, including the clean energy sector, and enhancement of regional cooperation.
