Germany Thanks the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Repatriation of German Nationals from Nigeria

Germany thanked the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for repatriating 30 German nationals from Nigeria on a Bulgarian evacuation flight.
“Your Ministry not only offered an opportunity for the return of our citizens but also did everything in its power to ensure their smooth transfer to Germany. This is an outstanding example of European cooperation, which we welcome,” reads a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated that we must stand together to meet the challenges we are facing globally,” the letter goes on to say.
France, the Netherlands, Poland, Denmark, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Greece, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, and Cyprus, whose nationals were able to return to their homelands on the same flight, have also expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
