Yordanka Hristova Gives Concert in Havana on the Occasion of Third of March

On the occasion of Bulgaria’s national day, 3 March, the Bulgarian Embassy in Havana organised a concert of singer Yordanka Hristova, who is much loved by the Cuban audiences. More than 1,000 people attended the event, which was hosted by the prestigious Teatro América.
Yordanka Hristova took the occasion to bid farewell to her Cuban fans 50 years after debuting in the country. The audience included representatives of the Cuban state administration, the diplomatic corps, the artistic circles, the Bulgarian community and Cubans who have graduated in Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian artist performed popular Cuban and Bulgarian songs, and her friends Farah Maria and Bobby Carcasés joined in. The concert ended with “My Country, My Bulgaria”, which received a standing ovation.
After the concert in Havana, Yordanka Hristova left for Mexico. This is the second leg of the singer’s tour, financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Communication Plan for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
