The 3rd of March reception at Council of Europe building in Strasbourg

The Permanent Representation of Bulgaria in Strasbourg hosted an official reception at the Council of Europe building in celebration of the 3rd of March. The festive occasion began with a performance of the anthems of Bulgaria and Europe and a brief musical program by a duo of Bulgarian musicians residing in Strasbourg.
Ambassador Katya Todorova, the Permanent Representative of Bulgaria to the Council of Europe, delivered a welcoming address, followed by a brief speech by CE Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland, who congratulated Bulgaria on the 140th anniversary if its Liberation.
The festive event was attended by ambassadors and diplomats from permanent representations to the CE, ranking CE officials, members of the Secretariat, Bulgarian nationals working for the CE as well as Bulgarian expats living or working in Strasbourg.
