Bulgaria’s National Day was marked in Tirana on March 1st, 2018 by a reception with more than 200 attendees. Among the guests were officials from government institutions, the Chief and the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the armed forces, chairpersons of parliamentary factions, politicians, diplomats, captains of industry, members of Bulgarian expat societies in Albania, academics, religious and cultural figures and other friends of Bulgaria.
Children in traditional Bulgarian costumes were handing out martenitsas to the guests.
